Bilic in Hospital
|
Slaven Bilic has been hospitalised for two days after picking up a serious bout of flu.
It comes after Michail Antonio battled off the same bug to take his place in recent matches after being laid low for a week.
Bilic is reported to have felt unwell after the 3-1 win over Middlesbrough at the weekend and took himself to a London hospital on Sunday where doctors decided to keep him in for two days under observation.
He has not been at the training ground since returning on Tuesday but is expected back over the next few days when hopefully the training ground will be clear of the bug.
ClaretandHugh sends its best wishes to the boss for a speedy recovery.
Get well soon gaffer! Quite glad we don't have a game this weekend.

Hairy,
He has to keep his weight down because of his hip injury that has never healed properly since he went to the 98 world cup instead of having it operated on.

Get well soon Slav.
I didn't realise Antonio had taken his place in recent matches. Must have been bad and I'm surprised Bilic didn't get himself to hospital sooner. Still with those results Antonio's made a good case for becoming our manager at some point in the future.
Or perhaps I've misunderstood an ambiguously written article.

You often see him on the touchline bent over with his hands on his knees. That's his bad back I think.
Or maybe he was just watching Zaza & Tore

I hope it's just flu, the bloke constantly looks like he has stage four lung cancer.
No one gets hospitalised for flu, wouldn't be surprised to see him come out with a thick and handsome jet black quiff.

I'll bet he has an infection that can only be cured by the wonderful new treatment of having extra follicles attached to his head...
